Gravity and Resistance project

The version of the virtual pool form centering on the layer of sound is also a project in a present progressive as "Gravity and Resistance."

The LED unit made like the horizon comes from the project plan in La Villette in Paris."gravity and resistance" which makes the pool by sound and light and goes but without water, and this space made by via virtual power (virtual gravity and against virtual gravity power), layer of LED slit light and sound.

A project note is read. It goes into space with a loose slope. A border line like the water surface has there. It seems to be a pool. The gravity and antigravity exist there. The light is not a line but it looks like a field. As it is in the distance, near and sense of distance are lost. If you walk along an unstable top of flooring, its border line/border goes up and down to changes. It seems that the border line of light is also being interlocked with the motion of the body by sound on real time. Then will progress in front, there is the feeling of resistance like the reaction force. Simultaneousl, the light and sound are sufficient for their environment.

Now we will describe about near future plan for “Gravity and Resistance”.
Sensing of this project was carried out by location recognition of many audiences, and we wants to make it that into which space like that 25m pool is transfigured. In the anechoic room version was very narrow as a property of the room. About how whose horizon of light is visible from these conditions, it was not able to become completely abstract. We want to enlarge such sizes and resolution and to carry out the design which loses a sense of distance. We want to aim at the space which eliminated the wearing procedure as much as possible. Also, we consider the dialog with much body balance from the dialog with one body balance. On the extension, the component of the calculation currently used for the core division (virtual power loop) will be increased, and the process of more complicated balance is considered.
