Welcome to graduate program in Interaction Design at Tama Art University !

Interaction Design Program confers Master degree in Art and Design on Interaction Design major. The Program consists of two research groups, Experience Design and Media Design.

The program offers graduate students to study ways of organizing forms and behaviors to various Interactions expanded by Information and Communication Technology with design projects and thesis. Our students are new graduated from many disciplines and social experienced from around the world.

I-1 Experience Design research group focuses on designing Information Products and Services based on Human-Computer Interaction study and Activity Theory.
I-2 Media Design research group focuses on designing expanded Visuals and Graphics based on broad genre of Communication Studies from algorithm to society.

The program runs not only collaboration with other research groups in the School but also collaborative and exchange studies with world design schools in Korea, US, Germany, Finland and Sweden *.

Goals of the studies in the program is having capability of high level designing on Information and Communication phenomena. Almuni of the program are playing active role in upper process of Service Design development in industry, Social Media design, Data Visualization and Algorithmic Visuals.
